The products available from Steel Supply are unique. These include carbon, alloy and stainless steel shafting (TG&P or Turned, Ground and Polished), Chrome Plated carbon, alloy or stainless steel shafting, Induction Hardened shafting chrome plated or close tolerance TG&P for linear bearing applications, carbon steel mechanical tubing (DOM and CDSM) with a honed I.D., Chrome Plated O.D., or a combination of chrome plated O.D./Honed I.D. Also Chrome Plated I.D., or Ground and Polished O.D. Many are offered in extra long lengths and with closer than standard diameter tolerance. We tag these “unique” because we hold our products to a higher standard – closer tolerance, various micro finishes, DFARs compliant, etc.

All of these items are available from stock and generally ship within one day. Cut lengths on all stocked items are offered. Diameters include traditional inch items as well as metric diameters.

Material test reports are provided at no charge and include chemistry as well as mechanical properties. High strength stainless material in 17-4PH H-1150 also has Charpy impact values available.

The majority of our inventory is domestic melt which makes it favorable for NAFTA, CAFTRA, and Australia export purposes. Items are DFARs compatible and comply with DRC Conflict Materials, RoHS, and REACH requirements. ITAR certification will be in effect during 2013 and we are ISO 9001:2008 certified through June, 2016.
